Before now, I had worked at CHANNELS TELEVISION as the station’s Head of Political and Reportorial Desk as well as an Editor. I studied Mass Communication at the NNAMDI AZIKIWE UNIVERSITY, Awka in Anambra state for my Bachelors degree and the UNIVERSITY of LAGOS for my Masters degree. I am Chevenning Fellow and hold a postgraduate certificate from the Centre for Studies in Security and Diplomacy,International Development Department, University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. I have won several professional awards including the CNN MULTICHOICE Africa Journalist of the year Award. I am a five-time winner of the Nigeria Media Merit Award, NMMA for TV Reporter of the year, three-time winner the Wole Soyinka Award for Investigative Journalism, four-time winner of the Diamond Award for Media Excellence, DAME and a winner of the RED RIBBON award for HIV/AIDS Reporting.
