ARPO Earthlore is a flagship programme started by Archival and Research Project (ARPO) in 2021, dedicated to duly representing and documenting tribal traditions. The first on the series, Koothu Kondakkari by the Irula community of Attappadi is a song about love and romance. Through the song, we capture the life and landscape of the tribal community, who engage primarily in farming and cattle herding and lead a life closely allied with nature.
