Seek Correspondent position In Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to cover the African Union & Horn countries. Since 2023 split my time between Ethiopia 80% US 20%. My field of study is Political Science & journalism. Have worked in a private TV station as CEO; producer, director, commentator and trainer. For many years was a faculty in US universities among others at Carnegie Mellon University School of Public Policy; George Washington University the Elliott School of International Affairs; Ohio University Scripps School of Journalism.  
Media resource person: For years have served as a media resource person & analyst on Horn politics, media; culture, communication; UN; the African Union, the EU, US Foreign Policy; African - China Relations. Was a contributor and analyst for 8 years for VOA Amharic; VOA English; German Radio, South African ‘Newsroom Afrika’, Nigeria’s Channels TV and Al Jazeera. Recently had 3 appearances in Al Jazeera. Topics of discussion were the Crisis in the Sudan; African Union and on Ethiopia, Egypt, Sudan and the Ethiopian Mega Renaissance Dam GERD.
I have experience running a private TV station called Nahoo TV as CEO for 2 years 2022-2023. 
Have developed my own TV Programs: Have experience setting up and running TV programs. They are named ‘Diplomatic Corner” and “Voice of the Diaspora”. In the weekly Diplomatic Corner I interviewed high profile resident ambassadors; foreign policy and diplomacy experts based in Addis Ababa. I had also interviewed United Kingdom’s and Australian foreign Ministers. My programs were rated highly by Ethiopian and global audiences. The Ambassadors were accredited to Ethiopia, to the AU, IGAD and to UNECA.
Weekly Commentaries: Had weekly hour-long political analysis program called ‘Samentawi Alem Aqefe” where current topics on a wide range of Ethiopian, Horn, African & global topics.
