Yanmei Jiang, freelance photographer and videographer based in Guangzhou China.

I was former editor and photographer in media for about 5 years and freelance photographer for about 3 years. My works have been published by lots of media in and out of China. Such as Tencent News, VICE China, Netease News, Sina News, Guangzhou Daily, Cityzine Magazine, Lens Magazine, News Weekly Magazine, Marie Claire Magazine, Peopleâ€™s Photography, Chinese Entrepreneur Magazine, Economic Weekly Magazine, CBN Weekly Magazine, Portrait Magazine, 1626 Magazine, World Traveller Magaznie and so on.

My collaborative photography work Me and Me received the Taipei Photo Emerging Talent Awards 2016, and the XITEK EOS New Talent Award 2015, and it got in the finalist of the 8th Three Shadow Photography Award 2016. The dummy book of Me and Me get in the finalist of Dummy Award Kassel 2016, and Gucang Dummy Award Martin Parr Edition.

Video

It is a video story about Guangzhou Port, 30 minutes. Guangzhou Port Project a commissioning art work of China Port Museum. It was made by Yanmei Jiang and Wenjun Chen. It includes video work Three Foreigners Doing Business In Guangzhou (by Yanmei Jiang) and photography work Wandering Through Guangzhou After 2000 Years (by Wenjun Chen). This work is about Guangzhou port changes from ancient to modern and business status.
