Kwangu Liwewe is a freelance journalist with vast experience working for both Broadcast and Print Media
in Southern Africa, West Africa and the United Kingdom including ten years post qualification experience in senior management positions in the private media in Africa. 
She holds a Diploma in Journalism and a Masters of Arts in International Journalism from City University in London.
Kwangu has held senior positions in Zambia, Malawi, South Africa, and Nigeria and has covered several disputed Presidential elections, coups, and the Boko Haram insurgency in Northen Nigeria.
Kwangu is passionate about Africans telling their own stories and balances this with some positive stories such as the FIFA World Cup in South Africa and the emergence of Rwanda as an IT hub in East Africa.
Some of the positions Kwangu has held include  West Africa Bureau Chief for e-News Channel Africa eNCA 
and  anchor of the Channels  current affairs show Africa 360, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Kwangu has interviewed include President Paul Kagame( Rwanda), Yoweri Museveni ( Uganda), Uhuru Kenyatta ( Kenya).Others include Graca Machel, Joyce Banda, and the Late Kofi Annan.Topics she's tackled include Social, Economic and Political issues on the continent while interacting with a range of stakeholders including Politicians, Non-Governmental Organizations, Churches,  Donor community, Business community, and ordinary citizens.Kwangu is currently based in Lusaka, Zambia where she anchors a Radio segment ' The African view with Kwangu Liwewe' on Zambia's number one Radio Station HOT FM.
